this is a great and fun place to vacation at for a day - this used to be the home of william blount and was made of sawn lumber when most homes were log cabins - it has authentic furnishings and 189th century antiques - a nice drive - great staff and lots of parking - pick up lunch and have a great time here with or without the kids - this is a national historical landmark

WOW! The Blount Mansion is as historical as they come.....William Blount also had a high school named after him, which I went to.....GO GOVS! Anyways back to Blount Mansion its a great experience for new comers to the area and old timers :) History is everywhere in the mansion!
